Due to the recent snowstorms that have prevented the lakes from thawing out properly, Memories Made Guide Service has made the decision to cancel this years crappie tournament that would have benefited Healing Patriots. Here is the latest post from Memories Made Guide Service on their FB page about the event.
We have fielded several calls about the tournament. At this time the tournament is CANCELLED!
Unfortunately mother nature wasn’t on our side this year! We will be hosting the tournament next year.
**At this point teams have 3 options.**
1) Roll entry fee to next year
2) Tax deductible donation directly to Healing Patriots
3) Refund

Crappie Tournament Info and Rules
Remember, there is only 40 teams. First come first serve.
Teams will be posted on event page as they register/pay.

We will NOT be accepting checks through mail this year. We apologize.
We will NOT hold spots for teams. You must be paid to secure a spot.
Last year, we filled our roster in 6 days.

Memories Made Guide Service is hosting it’s 2nd annual crappie tournament held at Lord FLetchers on Lake Minnetonka. This Family friendly event is a great time to help us in supporting a non profit organization, along with our guide service to take Veterans fishing at no cost to them. Join us in supporting our countries Heroes.
**Payouts** Based on 40 boats
1st) 750.00
2nd) 500.00
3rd) 250.00
**Rules**
Fee: $100.00 per 2 person team
Time 7 am -2 pm
Registration/Sign in starting at 7 am in the Lord Fletchers parking lot. (Best to launch your boat at maxwell or North Arm bay access.)
Ease off at 8 sharp from Lord Fletchers.
Must be present in Fletchers parking lot at 2 pm
Weigh in begins promptly at 2 pm.
If a team is late up to 5 minutes they will be docked 1 pound. After 5 minutes the team is disqualified.
All MN DNR rules apply
Culling is allowed
The weigh in is based on 10 crappies per team.
There will be a 7″ minimum length for crappies to be eligible
Any crappies under 7″ will be disqualified to weigh in
Big crappie must be marked with zip tie provided.
There are no boundaries of Lake Minnetonka. Fishable waters must be navigable by boat.
All fish must be caught during tournament hours on Lake Minnetonka
All fish must be brought to weigh in a cooler, bucket, pail or bag.
Fish must be alive, or appear to be fresh.
We are attempting to release all fish after weighing in.
Big fish tie will be determined and won by the team which registered/paid first.
Total weight tie will be determined by big fish.
All decisions by Tournament directors are final.
Teams are consisted of no more than 2 persons in a boat.
No more than 2 people may be in a participating boat
The current payouts are based on 40 boat maximum.
Payouts will be adjusted accordingly to the number of boats registered.
Refunds will only be provided pending the tournament is cancelled before the time of the start of the event in case of dangerous weather.
Please conduct yourselves ethically and in a sportsman like manner.
Life Jackets are recommended while boat is moving.
